Follow the high-flying adventures of our all-women flight deck crew who operated a multi-stop Emirates SkyCargo Boeing 777 Freighter trip covering 6 cities across 4 continents to mark International Women's Day.
Captain Ellen Roz from the United States and First Officer Heidi McDiarmid from Australia flew 30,000 kilometres in 10 days carrying over 300 tons of cargo ranging from fresh flowers and fruits to pharmaceuticals.
They operated the Boeing 777 Freighter on 5 flights serving the Frankfurt-Mexico City-Quito-Aguadilla-Amsterdam-Dubai World Central Emirates SkyCargo route.
They were joined by Captain Heather Wolf from Canada on the Frankfurt-Mexico City sector.

Viral Emirates Ad: Is this woman really standing on top of Burj Khalifa?
UAE’s largest airline Emirates recently released an advertisement which shows a crew member standing on top of the world’s tallest building- Burj Khalifa in Dubai. As the ad went viral, netizens questioned the authenticity of its filming and whether the woman was actually stand on the top of the skyscraper. Emirates later released a behind the scenes video showing that the ad was actually filmed on top of Burj Khalifa and the actress Nicole Smith Ludvik is a professional skydiving intstructor.
